Phone Switched Itself Off.

Phone for some reason turned itself off while it was in standby, as when I normally hit the button on the bottom to turn it back on nothing happened, and I then found out that it had switched itself off completely even though the battery was at 51%

I have the WiFi sleep policy set to NEVER so it can't be to do with that.

One thing though was when I started up the phone again from scratch I had a new notification about the Samsung Push Service update, could it have been something to do with this perhaps?

Phone switched itself off yesterday for a second time in 3 months, called provider who after asking me a few questions asked me to reset my phone to put it back to how it was when I first bought it, this has been done so I hope that will fix the issue as I am positive it's not a battery issue.

As I haven't had the phone for long and if the issue occurs again for a third time, would I be entitled to a replacement phone being that it could possibly be a hardware fault.

The phone is on contract.

After calling them it seems them sending me out a new phone isn't an option.

Last night when I was browsing Google Maps it for some reason just rebooted.

Today exactly one month to the day my phone switched itself off again with the battery having enough power in it, called Virgin and they are wanting it back to repair for a second time.

I just think it is ridiculous that after saying it was fixed it quite clearly has the same fault.

I am just wondering what my rights are if it occurs again after been back to the repair centre for a second time. They just refuse to tell me when I ask them that question.

I have noticed some people with other phones that this issue happens to them too, however on many of them they need to remove the battery for the phone to come back on, with me all I do is press the power button for longer than it needs when its been turned off by myself, and the phone comes back on again.
