Help Phone very SLUGGISH recently

Hello all,

I upgraded my phone a few weeks ago when the update was released, but all of a sudden about 5 days ago my phone starting stalling, when typing, when opening and closing programs, sometimes when unlocking the screen...

It's very annoying, I have to take the battery out and restart at times.

Before the phone ran extremely smooth but now this sluggish response is killing the experience of my beloved S3.

I downloaded the Cache Cleaner but that hasn't really helped. I'm on the brink of doing a factory reset but not looking forward to it.

Has anyone else experience this lately and know of a fix???

Any help would be appreciated.

My phone has also been acting pretty whacky. Also of a sudden when I go into all apps and select widgets it doesnt display any. It shows the name of the widget but no image. Not sure what is going on but I really dont want to do a FDR

What carrier are you guys using? And are you running ICS or JB?

Did all of you do a factory reset after the update? If not, I would start there. I always do a reset after an OTA update. This helps to clear out anything left behind after the update.
