Phone won't boot after battery runs out

So this has happened to me 3 times now. If my battery run out and the phone shuts off it will not reboot after charging back up. It just keeps looping the splash screen over and over and will never fully boot into the OS.

I end up having to restore from a backup to get back in to the phone.

Any clue what's up with that?

Let's make sure it's related to a dead battery. Try to reboot now and see if it combines up fine . Then shutdown and pull the battery, then replace and see if it boots fine. If all this works, then your final test would be to yank the battery while the phone is on and running. Then replace and try to boot . Report back with your findings and we'll go from there.
