Help Phone won't charge!

Hello guys. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for about a month or 2 now and it's been working perfectly with root on it (in stalled around 2 weeks or using the phone.) But lately I've been getting some problems with the charging of the phone. IT WONT CHARGE! I have already bought a new battery 2 days ago and for the 1st day of using it it was perfectly fine but today it won't charge again! And the phone is completely 0% now so I can't do anything for the settings. Any suggestions on how to fix the phone?

I've had charging issues myself Zacky so I'll take a swing at it until someone else shows up. How are you charging it? If you are using a wall charger try charging it by usb. If you are using usb try a wall charger. You could also try an external "power bank" to see if the phone will charge like that. Or lastly, you can get a cheap "travel charger" to try and charge the battery outside of the phone. I got one for under ten Euros this weekend, and it would not only totally charge you battery, but if it works it will also rule out faulty batteries and you can take it from there.
 
Anyway I'm bring it to the repair shop soon but just looking for ideas to fix my phone for free or a cheap way. It's okay if you guys do not have the solution I just need to spend a little more money that's all.
 
For the external charger I do not know as I do not have one as when I bought the new battery I thought I would not need it so... yeah. And funkylogik I don't really know where to find stock cables or what it is even. I'm really sorry. :(

By "stock" I just meant like the one that came with the phone or a replacement one from Samsung that claims to be original and for the note 2.
What Mbanu suggested is a good idea if your charging port is maybe broken since you already have a spare battery
 
I usually use the chargers I bought from like random stores which sells android cables like those mini shops you know? I buy them cause they have some cool lighting effect :D
