Help Phone wont start correctly anymore.

Hi, i own this phone since a years ago, but it now it cannot start anymore, it started since the battery got empty, a friend borrowed me his battery, the same one but it still doesnt work, when i try to start it, the boot screen show up,

That one but white, and after 4 second, it turn off, 2 second later, it boot up again, and turn off again, over and over, it never stop, so it wont even start up, i already have dropped my phone, but the last time i dropped it was a while ago, so it started doing it for no reason.

Anyone know what could it be? :confused:

I'll do my best to help you:

1. Get the drivers for your phone with the LGMobile Support Tool software if you don't have it.
2. Take out battery.
3. Slide keyboard, press 1 (keep your finger on it) and plug in USB. You are now in emergency mode.
4. Put battery back.
5. Download KDZ_FW_UPD software.
6. Open it and put Type = 3GQCT, PhoneMode = CS_EMERGENCY. KDZ file = V10D if you have 2.2 or V20A if you tried upgrading to 2.3 and failed or currently have 2.3 (do not change filename and do not try flashing previous version or you'll brick your phone).
7. Press launch software update... Wait for it to be finished... Do NOT unplug phone during flash or you may brick it. If you have any errors, just post the log here and we'll do our best to help.

Thanks, but it seem that the computer still wont detect the phone.

Here is what happening.

Try reinstalling the drivers. I think it's the problem.
 
So i reinstalled it, and the B2CAppSetup.exe seem to be able to detect the phone now, but KDZ_FW_UDP.exe still cannot detect it.

Looks like my phone is dead for good. :(

Damnit! Ive had this phone for 1 years, i still got 2 years of contract.

What can i do?
 
If you can enter emergency mode then your phone is not dead...

Maybe Karendar can help you.
 
I had an issue today with my phone not booting up, this started after I left the phone on all night and completely drained the battery and recharged the battery. It just hung on the android splash screen. I took it into telus and the lady did a factory reset on it, and it booted up fine. It already had the 2.3.3 upgrade and it was rooted. Oddly enough, it seems to have fixed the wifi issues I have had since the upgrade. I have had the wifi on for well over an hour and I have been going into android market and have let the phone sleep and the phone hasnt locked up at all.

I had the same problem as you.

The ONLY thing you can do is to enter emergency mode when plugging your phone USB and keeping your finger on 1 at the same time.

Then you must find a way to flash it.

I was able to restore mine that way. As long you can enter emergency mode you can restore it.

Your phone is weird man. Why is the camera top right corner? Mine is in the middle.

Are you sure it's a LG Shine Plus?

I know, that pic was an exemple of the boot screen.

But anyway, i also noticed that the USB would actually get detected by the computer, but only sometime, even when i hold the 1 button, and even if windows detect the phone,
B2CAppSetup will detect the phone, but KDZ_FW_UPD still say that the phone was not found..

haha yea I was thinking that. could be a problem if he's flashing shine plus roms on a phone other than the shine plus.... could even be bricked (hope not though!)

Are the LG drivers installed? If not, try uninstalling and reinstalling? Also, make sure the B2CApp isn't running when using KDZ_FW_UPD. It'll link with the phone and force it to not detect in the app.

Have you tried another computer? Maybe off a fresh installed Windows might help (One that doesn't have the phone drivers or the B2CApp installed)

when I first got my phone i had a hard time getting my computer to detect it.. it was because when I tried to install the drivers i had the wrong country selected on Lg mobile update tool.. each and every time you leave the main screen on LG mobile update tool you must (re-select) the county after you return, or you will not download the proper drivers. after I selected my country the first time. I would never even pay attention because I assumed it was already selected.

just a thought lol if it happened to me it can happen to someone else
