Phone won't start

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 and it won't power up. It will only show the phone model and then nothing. I tried to remove the battery and power up, remove the sim and memory card and still nothing. Now, the battery is out but the screen still has Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 on display. The phone was working wonderfully before and I always tried to make sure to delete unnecessary apps. What is happening?? Thanks!
 
It's hard to say what's happening without knowing what might have happened before this problem started.

All I can suggest is, take it off power and remove the battery for a couple of minutes. If after that it doesn't work you may want to try a factory reset. Usually booting up while pressing some combination of buttons gets you into recovery mode (which buttons depends on manufacturer, and I don't know Samsungs very well, but it commonly involves volume keys or volume + power). From there you can try clearing cache, and if that isn't enough a factory reset.
