Help phone wont unlock with corrrect email/password

my phone got locked because someone didnt kno the pattern and consistently tried until it asked for my email and password. however, when i enter my information correctly, verified by me also logging onto google/gmail right here on the desktop, it will not unlock and say wrong password or username. i tried with and without @gmail.com on the end and even changed me password , yet to no avail, so i changed it back. what the hell am i supposed to do?

I have verified this myself, I can confirm this works 100%.

ou hold down both up and down volume buttons, the call button, the center button, and the red end call button at the same time when the device is powered off and it will boot into hard reset
