My daughter sent me a text now it wont delete off my phone it keeps telling me its an invalid destination address to correct the recipient what does that mean and how do I get this off my phone? I have a Samsung Galxy Proclaim. This is the first problem Ive had with this phone.

The destination address and the recipient are both the 'To' address or number. That shouldn't matter if you're deleting the message, only if you're responding to it.
