Help Phonebook Contact Card

I have a HTC One (M7) and am wondering if i update my contact card e.g. Add a new email address. Is that updated on a friend's Android if they have me saved in their phone book, or would they need to add manually?

They would need to add the new number manually, or re-import the updated card sent to them.

Yup, just make the required updates to the contact card on your phone then send it to the other party.
