1st post, a huge site, hi to all.

Just about to order Galaxy i9000 S. Ive scanned the two Intro threads on this board good material for future reference, however, what Id like to know now is what reading should I study now and what are the main settings I need to adjust after I open the box? If there is a step by step please advise on thread title or url?

Anything obvious Ive omitted do advise.

You'll have fun getting it to work. its not as fast as other 1GHZ phones and not OEM solution at this time after two updates. Go through everything in settings.

Well to the Galaxy S world. There are no specific settings you need to worry about, just play around with it and try to experiment and see what works best for you. It is different for each person.

The first thing I would do first is check if there is an update available for the OS version.

But you will enjoy it.
