Help Phones doesn't charge past 33 percent

Left it charging all night and didn't charge past 50 percent. Is it the battery? Or could it be a problem within the ROM?

I dont think its the ROM itself. I haven't had a problem with the battery charging ever. Had this ROM(simplicity) for a while now. Always used to charge fast. Now it rarely charges but oddly enough the battery still lasts as long as it used to. I disabled busybox. Could it possibly be xposed framework?
 
Wow. It ended up being the USB cable that was the problem lol. Got a new one and now it's charging as it normally did before the issue
 
I don't know if this will help but I had the same problem with my galaxy note 2. After tinkering with different ideas I notice it was some chargers that would not charge my phone past 50% I also notice that some charger cable some ends were a little longer then others that meant it went deeper into the phone it took me a while to figure it out because I had so many other chargers I didn't bother pulling the Galaxy charger out of the box
 
I was so worried that my battery was dying. It wouldn't charge past 40%. I'd tried charging only in airplane mode, and even switched outlets. As soon as I switched chargers, I got up to 63% within minutes. Thank you!
