Root Phones Unlocked, Having Trouble Rooting

xMoKax

Newbie
Ok, so last night I unlocked my phone using these instructions:

Unlock Bootloader on Mac OS X - Rezound - xda-developers

When I check the BootLoader (Take battery out and put it back in. Press on the Volume Down and Power button) screen. At the very top in White letters and a Pink Highlight, it says: ***UNLOCKED***

So, I know that it's unlocked. But I can't figure out the other steps.

I just flashed the Amon Ra Recovery.

But how do I Root?

Btw, I'm a Mac user. So everything that I did above, was completely new to me, and I was able to do it. I just need clear instructions for Mac users to Root their phone.

Can anyone help?

I'm not a Mac guy, but I believe if you've successfully flashed Amon Ra, you are now rooted. Amon Ra has an option in its menu to install Superuser. If you can do that successfully, you are def' rooted.

you can also flash superuser files in recovery. superuser 3.07 is linked in the root guide.

you can flash the root files,or try the menu option in amon without being connected to a computer,so there are no specific mac instructions

I did it. I just dropped all the files out in the open in one place, used that directory, and then I had to put a ./ in front of the fastboot command. I'm rooted, now.
