Welcome to the forums, sasakara.

Have you assigned the photo to that contact in the contact's identity parameters (phone number, email address, etc). Also, are you using Google contacts or "phone" contacts. Sometimes the choice is offered to exclude some contacts from appearing in your Google/Gmail based listings.

Are your menus set up for syncing contacts with Google/Gmail?

My old Samsung Fascinate did that for a while. But that was before I began using Google/Gmail for contacts/calendar and other social networking stuff.

I'm hoping that somebody here with that same Sony Xperia S will join the conversation and offer some assistance. Meanwhile, I'll check around to see if anyone else has seen that issue of the contact photo only appearing on outgoing calls with that phone.

Yes, I did my menus set up for syncing contacts with Google/Gmail. Meanwhile, when I trayed to fixed problem for short time it starts working good I do not how,but now, agean it is come back and I have the same problem.

When I have deleted all contact, I trayed from begining with phone contact which did not working before and it worked.When I restored phone contact from internal storage the same contact do not working agean.Maybe problem whit sinhronizacion and something like this, but I do not know.
Plese help.

I have fixed problem, photo contact which did not appear belongs my family network paket and its have appeared with shorted number.When I have edited conact number it was solution.I hope you undsertend what i have explaned.
