Help Photo gallery problem

I am just wondering is it normal for the stock gallery when accessed to take an age to load up photos. I have to wait for a page to load then scroll, wait again and so on. I have 146 photos with maybe 12 videos in that number. Any help much appreciated.

Yeah, it can take a while to process all the thumbnails, once they're cached though, it should be too bad,

Is yours always slow?

I noticed this too. So I went to the market and installed the 'quickpic' app. Runs super fast once cached. Thoroughly recommended......

Sorry my fault I forgot recently put new memory card in and its the first time I'd accessed the gallery. So cache for the first time. But may try quick pic. Thanks.

I have a photo gallery problem too...why can't I get my photos to display in name order? I've got three photos of one band, and when I try to add another it just puts it to the back of my folder, as it was added last. Any way to sort them by name?
