Help photo taking while recording video on galaxy s 2

Is there a way to take photos while recording video on samsung galaxy s 2?? or a custom rom that has this facility??
 
as far as i know... i don't think so? did you try asking the guys back at xda? :D it'd be so cool if we'll have this feature.. like the SGS3
 
Have just checked on my s2(running latest Andy x ROM) and I can take a screen capture but not a picture while I'm recording. Galaxy w cannot do either! (stock 2.3.6)

Update it to the latest ( value pack).. It has this function.. My GF's galaxy w has this function.. She updated it recently.. :) and also it has the face recognition on lock screen.. ;)
 
Cool, I had been telling my gf to let me plug hers into kies to see if there was an update available yet, but she wouldn't let me....

Will try it next well thanks :-)

Or u cn do it from the phone using wifi or 3G without kies.... I think its easier... ;)
