i have a macbook air and a samsung galaxy s3. I want to transfer pictures from my samsung phone to my macbook air. I tried kies and it was difficult to use and does not always work
I am not familiar with Macs (never used one), but would imagine that you should be able to plug your phone in to your computer and explore it, in much the same way as on a PC.
When you plug in, does your computer recognize that there's a USB device attached? If so, you should be able to go to a folder called either DCIM/Camera/Pictures (or some such) and then just drag and drop them on to the computer... I often create a folder on my desktop and drag pics from my Nexus 4 to that (moving them once I've got all the pics on to the computer)
