Root Photo upload?

There are many ways. You can connect your phone to your pc and pull them off that way.
What I do is upload my photos to picasa from the phone then download them when I am at my computer. Use the share feature on the image
 
dropbox is another great way to go back and forth without connecting...its an app on the market, check it out!
