Help Photos -- How do I delete them?

Yes, another stupid question, but I have taken several pics of items to sell on EBay with my Kyocera Event. Most of them turned out terrible, as the camera is most definitely not the selling feature of this phone. My question is, what are the instructions for permanently getting rid of them? As always, I offer my humble thanks in advance!

I'm not sure the Android version you have, but for me I open the gallery where I have all the image thumbnails. Click the menu and choose "Select Item." You can them proceed to select multiple images. After you select the first, a trashcan appears at the top to actually do the delete.
