Photos Missing From Gallery

I only have one place for my pictures - Gallery. When I opened it yesterday about 25 photos were missing. They weren't in the Cloud, and I don't have any other photo apps, like Photobucket.

How could this happen? I'm not even sure where to look. Thanks.

first this may help you find them download es file explore and when you start it up it will scan every file on your phone and categorize them this will help you find the pictures if there not there i would suggest an antivirus scan on your phone

Thanks. Tried ES but it didnt find the photos. Any recommendation for a safe virus scanner?
 
Try this:
  • Opening the app named "Photos" (it's by Google and probably already on your phone)
  • Tap the menu icon in the top left
  • Tap "Device folders" and see if it's stored or saved in another app's directory
  • Check in "Archived" and "Trash" as well
Not sure this will work or help but worth a try. Let us know!
