Photos on facebook no comments since ics

when i look at photos on fb since upgrading i cant see the comments my friends are making on them.

Even if i click on the comments link the phone just takes me to a big fulll view of the picture.

Am i being thick or is this a known issue? Is there a work around.

ps viewing the same pics on my lappy brings up the comments

I assume you're talking about the stock FB app?
On my Nexus, if you click on the photo, yes you get a larger version. Click it again and you'll see at the bottom buttons for commenting, sharing and liking. Let me know if you don't see it.
