Help photos on microsd card

jimjoh

Lurker
I have a 32gb microsd card in my HTC avo 4g and looked everywhere and cannot find how to have photos taken by the avo camera placed in the card rather the memory of avo. Is here a setting that I have overlooked? Also I noticed when I connect the avo 4g to my computer I cannot see the microsd so the only way I see it to remove the card & use a reader. any help would be appreciated jimjoh

Welcome!
When you take a picture, they are saved to the DCIM folder on your sd card.
Now, when you plug your phone into your computer, an option to mount as disc drive should come up on the phone. Choose to mount, then, on your computer, navigate to the drive letter of your phone and what you see come up are your sd contents.

Hope that helps and if you have anymore questions, just ask my friend! :D

mikestony when I read your response I said to myself he is wrong so to prove it I took my microsd card out & inserted in a card reader & do you know what it proved? You are a 100% RIGHT!!!!! thank you for your quick & accurate response. jimjoh

That made me smile! Glad you found it!
Are you still not able to read the sd card while the card is in the phone?

Yes I thought I was reading the avo because there was items on it that I didn't place but what I was seeing was the card. You know before I posted I read the manual a couple of times & it never mentioned it. thanks again jimjoh
