Help Photos unreadable on PC

When I download my photos to my PC the latest photos are unreadable. All the other photos that I have on the phone before a certain date are able to be read on my PC. I can see all photos on my phone and when I email a photo from my phone that is unreadable on my PC I am able to see it after I open up the attached jpeg file on my PC. Every new photo that I take shows up on my phone, but is said to be unreadable on a PC. I have tried 3 different PCs and the error is the same each time. I have rebooted the phone, I have taken the memory card out and tried downloading straight from the card......nothing works except the email and I have about 100 + photos that need downloaded, so that would be a bit too tedious.

OK, lets start with the basics.
Are you photos being saved in the DCIM folder? Are you useing a program to download them? What format are the photos being saved in? What resolution are the pictures being saved in?
 
The photos are saving in the DCIM folder. They are saved as JPEGs. I was just dragging into a new folder on my computer, no program used to download. Resolution is set to 5 MP Large, which that is what it has always been set to.

Is there a way to change the format it saves in?

It's jpg or nothing as far as I can tell. Could you experiment with a lower resolution? I doubt it would work, but it's worth a try.

I presume you are using Windows. Could you try Linux?

Do you have "tags" turned on? It's a feature on my camera app.
