Root physical location of clockworkmod backups 4.3

I was trying to copy my new backup to the pc. The /sdcard/Clockworkmod/backup folder is empty. I goggled and found some posts saying as of 4.2 they are in a secure location /data/media/clockworkmod/backups ES file exporter shows this folder empty. There has to be some way to view and copy this file to my computer, no?

from ES File Explorer, manually grant Root access via the Settings.

then navigate back to that backups folder, and you should see the backups.

i hate how it does this, i always had to copy that backups folder to the viewable/user folder. so then i could copy it again from my phone to my computer.
