Pic Mail problem need help ASAP

ok i got my mytouch 3g 2 days ago and i tryed to send a pic to a friend and it didnt work... i have the myflex family plan wit free txt and pic mail but i DO NOT have the data plan is that y i cant do it since i dont the data plan

Picture mail relies on some sort of data plan, so without data you won't be able to send or receive MMS.

Most U.S. carriers have a messaging add-on that allows all types of messaging: SMS and MMS. MMS messages use the APN settings of the mobile data service, even though no charges for data will accrue if the messages are to another mobile user or email address.

The key is to have the APN correct. I don't happen to know the APN settings for T-Mobile.
