picking the right rom.

So this is my second time rooting a phone. My first one bricked. When I first did it the phone looked so awesome. Now I'm scared to put a custom rom and this phone because I don't have money to buy a new one and my mother would kill me. I'm will to flash one on but I don't know which to pick from. I'm already rooted using stock everything. I would love suggestions.

Sorry if this is the wrong forums.

Well if you are still on ICS (android 4.0.4), I would suggest you upgrade to Jelly Bean (android 4.1.2 ) There is an official one for our phones. As far as custom ROMs, Our phone is the exact same thing as the Epic 4G Touch, and we can use Any ROM meant for that phone. Checkout the 'One Stop Shop" that is a sticky at the top of this forum.

I did look through the shop, only made me more confused on the matter.

I want something customisable. I've been doing research and Aosp are more customisable, but touch wiz based roms are more stable and has less bugs.( if I'm understanding what people are saying). So I don't know which to go with.

There are customized TW ROMs. If you are looking for an interface change you could just change your launcher (download one from the play store). I do recommend the TW Jelly Bean ROMS, and installing the xposed framework with some modules and a different launcher would make the ROM look quite different from stock.

I LOVE aosp. I'm running baked black bean and its awesome man. No volume bugs and stuff like on some other aosp ROMs. I also recommend Wild for the Night 3/23 version, also aosp. Both are great. Both are JB 4.2.2. The TW ROMs are really nice too. Try em and see for yourself. Get em from the One Stop Shop

One last question can I use goomanager to flash a rom? Rom manger bricked my last rooted phone and I don't have internet or the phone drives on my computer to flash.

goomanager? No!,
If you want to update to JB then go here , there you will find the drivers and the official update for our phones (no need kies). Instructions here.

EDIT:
Sry you wont be able to download the official GC01 and drivers to your phone directly from the samsung website. so i took the time to upload them for you here.

What's inside the .zip? exactly what you will get if downloading it from Samsung website directly to your computer.

1-Official GC01 (JB) from Samsung website.
2-Samsung driver from Samsung website.

Note:
This file is 536.29 MB and will take sometime if downloading it from your phone using 3g/4g.

You don't have internet access? easy download them to your phone and copy them to your computer some how.

example:
(move the downloads to your sdcard and from your sdcard copy the downloads to your computer using an sdcard reader)

GOOD LUCK
