Pics and other stuff

Hi Guys and Gals,
Been trying to find out the best way to upload pics and dos from the desire hd.
Due to the 'limited' use/value of htc sync (BTW, does anyone know how to check the location to backups/syncs?), and a failure to locate the pics directory when using it as a external storage drive on my part... does anyone know how to find pics stored on the phone (possibly on the sd card)?
Or failing this is their an app to get the phone (including storge card) and PC (win 7) to transfer files?

Over the last 18 months I have had this phone, I have found numerous hurdles on items as this, whbich to me comes down to basic useability.
Look forward to any advise, direction or clarification (as needed).

Thanks for the post.
I refer to pics (not neccessarily taken by camera) could be received via mms, for example.

BTW 'lirc its under dcim'...I dont understand?

Looking forward to hearing from you, or anyone else with some clarification/direction (as required), on ANY of the issues raised in the original query.

I think that, once you receive a message, you have to save a copy of it to your phone, so you can access it - worth a try at least.

Iirc its under dcim

DCIM would be the folder that the pictures from your phone may be stored in

Thanks for the clarification on dcim, I can see the camera pics there but no mms pics.
Been trying to save the pic, however when i view the mms pic via 'gallery' I get no option to save it...which is a bugger.
If anyone else can give me a clue to how achieve mms saving (without using another app)...that'd be great.
