Help Pics from S5

Lurker
Hi all,
Am newbie to android having just got an S5 after years of iPhone but having a few teething problems.
Transferred all my pics from my S5 to my XP laptop tonight, in Windows Explorer the pictures are all the 'wrong way around' so am trying to rotate them en masse but nothing happens at all when trying to do this via both Windows Explorer and Windows Picture & Fax Viewer. If I open up each individual file in a picture editing programme (Photo Pos Pro) I can rotate and save but this means opening each individual file and there are 300 odd :(
I went back to try an older iPhone picture to check if it was the laptop but these worked fine! None of the files seem to be read-only either so not sure what to try next.
Any tips please?

Well, I just did a bit of research and it seems that you must have taken most of your pictures in Landscape Mode.

Here are some links to possible fixes that you can try.

Tweakguy: Rotate multiple images quickly

Rotate a batch of images/photos

Crop or edit multiple pictures at once in Picture Manager - Support

Those all seem to have the same theme.

IF all of the pictures are rotated, do a Control-A to select them all, then do a right click on one of them. Then select the appropriate rotation to flip them all at once.

This link is for software to flip them all at once. It has a limited Free Trial time period, but maybe that is all that you need?
