pics getting uploaded to Google+ automatically

pics i take with the camera are being uploaded to my Google+ automatically, I dont know, but are these publically viewable by people? I dont want that

how do I stop the pics being uploaded to google + automatically?

Yeah I saw that G+ was checked

But what did you mean by "def for phone upload is private" ?

When my phone uploads to Google+ people can see them, or that's what I always though I assumed, I don't want some random people on the web seeing my photos only ones that I specifically choose to share

By default, when your photos are uploaded to G+ via Instant Upload, your photos are only uploaded to your photos and NOT shared. If you want to actually share the photo, you need to explicitly do so from a G+ client (whether web or mobile).

To disable Instant Upload, go into your G+ app's settings and you should be able to disable it.
