When my t mobile prism with android 2g gets messages from others the picture or video attatchment said download to be able to view them, but when I press download it doesn't download at all it says is downloading now; then, says download it again. I'm unable to view any attachments sent from out of state relative?

Are you connected to mobile internet and have MMS activated? This happened to a friend of mine and it was a network issue.
Yes t mobiles internet connection is what my phone has. What does MMS mean? How wouldI activate that.

What he is referring to is going to Settings > More > Mobile Networks and assuring you have Mobile Data Enabled.
Not sure what version of Android you are on, but it will be similar to path I laid out for you above to find that.
Of course, I assume you have a data contract. Otherwise, don't turn this on unless you want to pay through the roof.

I meant an MMS access point. Not what the above guy posted. Picture messages go through your network's MMS access point. If do not have that configured, you can't get the picture and all you get are download links. You'd have to ask your network for their configurations.

You might try the free app 'SaveMMS' as work-around for looking at the messages's pics
