Picture copying problems! Ugghh!

So, I was hoping to take some pictures off Dropbox and save them to my gallery on my SD card (all from my phone), but I can't find the folder there to select.

I then decided to plug in my phone to the computer, and just drag the files over to the correct folder. I have been unsuccessful in doing this. I can't drag anything to anywhere. I can view what's already there in any folder, but when I try to copy and paste, or drag them over it says "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". I know it's still connected.

What the heck???!!!

So far, with this phone I have not figured out how to get any pictures on my SD card at all that weren't there, or that I don't take with the camera on it.

Use PTP for your USB connection (Settings/Storage/Menu/USB Connection/PTP).

Then use copy/paste (not drag and drop).

This works for me. Other methods exist. Also, Airdroid works (no cable required).

Some people say that you have to use the moto cable.
