Picture file sizes

Mostly I keep pics 'local' and take them at Max file size. On occasion though I will email ... is there an easy way to reduce the file size, using installed Gallery, other than cropping?

If you want smaller files you can't take pics at max. After you take them file size is set. You could compress them I guess.

Yep, I thought that was the case but hoped! Of cause there are many programmes that enable picture sizing but its an extra complication.

Installed it thanks. What is the easiest way to reduce size for emailing? Is it necessary to first produce the smaller file and then open an email and attach the reduced file?
