Help Picture Sharing Troubles

Okay I feel like big dummy.

Whenever I take a picture with my camera held in portrait view and attempt to upload it to Facebook or share it in some other fashion. it automatically rotates the photo. If I rotate the photo to the side before uploading, it's still showing as rotated.

Can anybody offer any tips for taking pictures in portrait mode? I appreciate!

Feel your pain here Tozy. Don't really have it mastered yet, as to what perspective to take pictures from safely, then to upload to Facebook, a fair share of mine have uploaded sideways. Same with video, don't know which way to hold it landscape or portrait, for the video to play accurately, and not lopsided. Anyone have it figured out?
