Help Pictures don't fit screen in gallery

Why do my picture in the Gallery app not fit the screen? When I view my pics in standard or landscape mode, there are black bars on the sides. In order to get rid of them I have to double tap the screen but it cuts off some of the picture.

If thats the only complaint you have then I would just let it go.

There is nothing I can tell you. Since its not really a problem. Just how they view the image. For one, when you bring up option menus they take up some of the black space.

Think about a normal photo taken with a standard camera. The aspect ratio height x width. That is the size of the photo. If you have a landscape view the taken photo cannot fill that landscape view it will remain the the same ratio as it was taken.

Pretty much. The resolution/aspect ratio could be different from what the S3 screen is, so there will be black bars to make up the difference.

If you want the pictures to fill your S3 screen then set the camera Resolution to 3264 X 1836.
