Heard Pimilical for Android (phone client) was just released. Anyone using it? Like it?

Been using it for a while. CESD has sent out about 3 or 4 updates...
I've been using it since he first released it maybe three weeks ago. It's very good, and as an old DateBk user, I think he's coming about as close to that DateBk experience as you can come given the vast differences between the Palm and Google Calendar platforms. It is still a work in progress, but like was mentioned above, the dev has already released several updates, tweaking features and fixing bugs.
From the limited amount of playing with other calendars for the Android that I've done, it looks like Pimlical is already far and away the best out there, with a ton of customizable options. There are still some features I'd like to see added. But for what it is right now, it was easily worth the money for me, and given the developer's track record and responsiveness, it should keep getting better.
Can I use Pimlical for Android in synch with my Google Calendar and not use the desktop Pimlical at all? I've got a bit of a mess, I'd like to start out the new year with just the Google Calender and Pimlical, and ignore the old Google stuff I imported via Pimlical - I'm thinking I can delete those calendars and start new, with new calendar names - does that sound like a plan? I don't care about the history, that can stay on the desktop - and in the Palm desktop.

Well, what I thought I'd do is get it all set up in PimlicalA and then go into PimlicalD and wipe it all out, after disabling my Palm Desktop somehow. Then I can relink, but I don't see myself using the desktop for much other than a repository. Thank you all, I'll do the install and see how it goes.I agree, you should be able to. The only thing that makes me nervous about doing that is that Pimlical Desktop provides the ability to back up calendar data locally. Not having a lot of experience with Google Calendars, I'm not sure I trust relying on them as my only backup. I use my calendar as my primary business calendar, so I can't afford having appointments and info disappearing in the clouds, without some local backup option.
But if that isn't a worry for you, or if you feel secure enough with GCal (and like I said, I'm speaking out of relative ignorance of GCal, they may be very reliable with your info for all I know), then you should be fine with your plan to start fresh with Pimlical Android and Google Calendar.

They're coming. I use Pure Calendar Widget for now.A little disappointed that there are no widgets yet.
They're coming, I'm missing them, too. For now I'm using Pure Calendar Widget, and I may continue to going forward if only for the customization ability.A little disappointed that there are no widgets yet.
