why thread overflow exception occur and how to reslove it

Hi! I am making android ping pong game in which i want to move one paddle randomly all the time .For that i created a thread ..that runs all the time but it generate thread overflow exception and then application stops.
I want to know how i can solve this problem. Thanks in Advance.
