Help ping

Hi guys,

my battery run down quite quick today and when i checked the juice defender log it says that PING has been auto-syncing every 3 to 4 minutes.

I dont know what Ping is and cant find it on the phone.

Can anyone help out please

Hello natnat.

Check your Application Manager for an app/widget by the name of ping or pingping.

I'm wondering if something was included in another download that is polling the area for network data or wifi signals.

If you find such an app in there and know you did not install it, it could be malware.

sorry I forgot to mention I have checked my application manager and theres no sign of it in there, very strange.
