Win some, lose some: the thickness when folded is great, it looks good, and I can see the utility of the very square screen when unfolded. But it's 8cm wide when folded, and that last is a deal-breaker for me. For me a device that you need 2 hands to operate whether it's folded or unfolded misses the main benefit of this foldable concept. So while the Z Fold is a bit thick, I feel that giving it a width < 7cm is a better choice.
The Pixel tablet looks promising. I don't need another tablet, don't expect to for several years, but if something like that had been available when I upgraded 2 years ago it would have been a serious contender.
