SORRY, GUYS. GOT A USED PHONE. DID A FACTORY RESET. NOW I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ONLINE TO HELP ME BYPASS GOOGLE. IT'S ASKING FOR A PREVIOUSLY SYNCED GOOGLE ACCOUNT. WHAT DO I DO?
The reset has triggered Factory Reset Protection because the previous owner's Google account wasn't removed from the device beforehand. It's a security measure to prevent unauthorised access.
My advice would be to return the device for an exchange or refund, as it's unusable by you. Or course, if you know who the previous owner was then they could unlock the device, remove their account from it and then reset it.
