Help Placing Things On Home Screen Problem

Good Morning Everyone

I have a question for you smart folks. My Triumph has been rooted and I just converted to CM7.

This has just started happening. When I try to place an icon such as the camera icon or the video icon on my homescreen it won't stay there. I've tried to place widgets on my homescreens and the same thing happens. I can place them in a folder and they will stay. Same way with an app...won't stay on one of the homepages but will stay in a folder. It's like I've locked the pages and nothing can be placed directly on them other than folders.

I've tried to check all the settings but can't find where I have something checked that shouldn't be.

Any suggestions.

Thanks GoldenBullet. Now if you would help this newbie out please tell me how to delete the cache. I know how to flash the rom. I'm still learning.

Boot into the recovery menu and there should be a option

In CWM mounts and storage (or something like that). Format cache.

I would actually recommend formatting the cache and re installing the rom

I cleared the cache and it's now working like a charm.
