Planner/notification app suggestion

Hi, I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I need an app suggestion
First of all, I need a proper planner that will notify me strongly. The S planner just makes a one second sound. It doesn't even vibrate.
I was wondering whether there was a setting that would make it vibrate strongly non stop until I press a button or whether any of you guys know a better app.

If it's just the notifications that are inadequate, you could look at an app called "Calendar Snooze". That lets you customise notifications as well as add configurable snooze options (as the name implies). I've been using it for more than 2 years now, whatever calendar app I'm using.

If the app itself doesn't do what you want, there are plenty of others. There are a number of threads about these in this forum, but probably the most comprehensive is http://androidforums.com/android-applications/26431-best-calendar-app.html.
