Play apps suddenly not transfering from computer to HTC

Suddenly my EVO V 4G doesn't download apps that I've selected on the Google Play site (via my PC). I'm certain that I'm somehow to blame, so can someone please point me in the correct direction to fix this? It will still download apps selected via my phone, FWIW. Help please! :D
 
When you are logged into Google Play in your computer, is the Evo V still selected? Mine still shows the last few Android phones I've owned... Perhaps it's trying to send the app to another device.
 
Thanks for the suggestion. I just checked that and the Play website is showing my current phone correctly. I'm thinking it's something in the phone itself. Also, apps I've downloaded directly to the phone are not showing up on the website either.

i had the same issue today,

on your phone go into your apps, and select "talk / gtalk / google talk" it's the i.m. that comes with the phone, you have to be logged in and as available in order the the pc to transfer the files to your phone from the playstore

i had the issue when I bought GLWG (great little war game) and then I opened talk and made sure it was showing green, then the file showed in my apps but didn't auto download since it was already a few minutes after I hit install on the pc, but after that it transfers them right away
 
I followed your suggestion and made sure my gtalk personality was 'green'. Still no luck, I'm afraid...


try to make sure it's green then leave it open, and on your pc, log-in to play.google.com , then download a random free app... if that doesn't work, I'd suggest maybe "using google search engine" so that you can get a more vast assistance base... since it's not just an EVO V issue
 
Bump. Google search has gotten me no where at this point. Any ideas? I've tried all options posted so far. Is this some problem with the Google acct?
 
I have 2 different Google accounts. Switching between them in Play has always fixed that issue for me. That means if you're really stuck you could always make a 2nd Google account but I'm thinking perhaps just going into settings and turning auto sync off and on might be enough of a trigger to get the account info to updated and kick the Play app on the phone to check with the Google servers which should then cause the update made on your PC to xfer to your phone.
 
I setup a 2nd Google acct and added it to Google Play. I then downloaded an app (successfully) and also received Gmail from the new acct on the phone. When I log into Google Play on my desktop and go to Settings > My Acct. > My Orders > Settings, it doesn't show my phone or the app I downloaded. Does this give any clues?

Edit/update: the new account works, but not my primary one. At least something works... Ideas?
 
i dont have this problem but i noticed it appeared about the time the 4g fix was put in place. check your version and update if needed or try toggling 4g. just some thoughts.
