Play Store Magazines section

I can see the Magazines section in the online version (viewed from a computer) but I can't on either of my devices. If I order a magazine subscription through the Play Store, how would I read it? The Play Store has one I'd like to get digitally, that I can't find elsewhere digitally in a format I like, and I have another through Zinio but I'd like to consolidate them into one place (and avoid the conversion rates when buying through Zinio).

I love the idea of it, but I hate that I can't add my current GQ, Maxim, or Esquire subscriptions. I spoke to a Google Play Store support rep, which he stated that these options are actually up to the publisher and not Google themselves. He also said he was going to provide me with a link in an email that would allow me to make a recommendation, but I'm still waiting on that email.

I found the Magazines app in the Play store and installed it. I still have trouble browsing them on the mobile devices but at least I can read them using the app, and at least one is cheaper on Google than in paper.

For the mags that you read, have you been able to add your current subscriptions?

I haven't tried that, I just wanted to see the format for one of them as the Kindle version was TERRIBLE. I may pursue that later today but one of them is already digital through Zinio so it may not transfer.

I just called one of my magazines (the only paper one I get), they can NOT transfer my remaining time to the Play Store, though it sounded like she was offering to cancel my paper subscription (with refund for remaining time) so I could switch to digital. For this particular one, it'll be a $5/year savings, which appears to go toward the other magazine as it's MORE on Google than on Zinio.
