Play Store Offers the Same Updates Again

[Android Question]

Why does the Google Play Store offer the same updates over and over?

I have Android 2.3.4 (Verizon won't provide updates) on my HTC Droid Incredible 2. This is the third time I've been asked to install the same Evernote update ... the second time I've been asked to install the same YouTube update ...the third time I've been asked to install the same Lookout Antivirus update. This kind of thing happens constantly. How can I stop it?

Sounds like something's gotten messed up internally.

Your best bet is probably to back everything up then do a factory reset.
