Does anyone know if there is a way to make the play store stop showing recent updates? I find this very annoying.

Hello Munky.

Once in the Play Store, tap your menu then settings then uncheck the "auto update apps" box. Next time you're in Play Store and hit "my apps" you'll see the ones needing updates listed at the top for you to decide whether or not to update each one individually, or hit the "update all" button at the very top. ;)

Hey Frisco, I don't think that's what Munky is looking for. That doesn't get rid of the sorting order. Google's last update for the Play Store shows apps that were recently updated, when looking at the apps that are installed on the phone.

So, for each update you make to an app, after it's updated, it'll be sorted at the top of the list of apps installed and I still haven't found a way to change the sorting order. I actually was looking for a solution for this as well, as it's not really important for me to see the most recently updated apps at the top of the list.

Your solution doesn't clear that out because I already have my apps set not to auto update.

Exactly, I dont like auto updates either. It isnt super important, just a bit of ocd...don't see the need for a separate list of what was recently updated.

No worries. I know exactly what you mean and I completely agree. It's not important to me to know what apps I recently updated, so I don't understand why that part of the app store can't be re-sorted, so that it doesn't show the recently updated apps.

I can see where people might find that useful, but I personally would rather just see the list.

Yet another example of fixing what wasn't broken.

Yup. Like the separate Nav application. At first, I thought it wasn't too bad, but the other day, it was such a PITA to find the contact I needed to navigate to, from an area I wasn't too familiar with. Took me much longer than when Nav was separate from Maps.
