I have issue were apps from play store won't download when using internet pass-trough(data cable ),and it worked couple days ago it just won't download it says"waiting for network" and wait and wait and wait but nothing happend.but internet is connected,i can browse internet, update weather and stuff just apps wont download

my phn model :htc desire s

Same problem here. I am really starting to hate this stupid little shit. Today I wanted to download few apps to my phone and on playstore it's just loading progress and actually downloading app never start, so I do factory reset phone, hoping it will be okay after that.
But, guess what? Same shit is happening. This android is really buggy as hell and basic things that should work, f*cking WON'T work, it's really frustrating and sometimes I wish to smash this shit with hammer or just throw it from window.
Btw, my phone is HTC Wildfire S and if anyone fixed this problem please let me know HOW.

Cheers.

Hi,

My phone is a HTC Desire S

Google Playstore used to be Android market as you know.My internet pass through used to work with Android market.

It is the update that Google have done that causes the problem - not our phones. Why they did not support the internet pass through on the update I don't know.

One way out is to go to settings / applications / manage applications / google playstore / uninstall updates. This reverts to Android Market - but only for that session. Assuming you had Android Market before. If not the Android Market App is available from some download sites.

So now I just use their website to send an app to the phone via the " airways "

when you go through the process to "uninstall updates " ( playstore ) is that box greyed out ?
If it is greyed out then maybe you did not have "Market " app on the phone before the update to "Playstore" and your phone came with "Playstore" already installed ?

I think Google have caused quite a few problems. The only way I can now download an app is through my phone via wifi or mobile network. I used to find it so much easier to go to their website via my laptop and then wiz it over to my phone. Now it doesn't recognise my login as my laptop uses my hotmail account as the sign in but my phone has always been set up as Gmail. Tried to change it on laptop but this is not allowed and then it just sends me round in circles!!

Given up trying,
