Play Store

[Android Question]

My Play store keeps loading but shows nothing.
I am using an old HTC with Android 2.2 and I only use it over a wifi Connection.

Will resetting the phone help or would be a waste of my time?

(when loading, shows translating sign at the top right left of the search button, grey bar and just plain light grey form).

I'd try clearing data for the Play Store app (Settings > Apps > All, select Play Store, select "clear data") rather than resetting the entire phone. You'll have to re-enter your Google login credentials when you next use it, but there's a chance that will fix it.

I'm assuming your network connection is working otherwise.

Also, if this only started recently give it a little time before doing anything radical, in case it's a temporary problem at Google's end.
