how can i reinstall the play store app on my samsung galaxy tablet?

Assuming that your device is not rooted the app is almost certainly still installed as its a system app, but you may have lost the icon from your home screens and/or it may have been disabled (not sure that could have happened either)
Open your app drawer and look for it there, then long press it and drop it on a home screen
