Help Playback from LAN Network?

Is there a file browser/file manager that allows playback / streaming of videos / movies from the LAN network for the TF? Is this possible without installing a third party program to computer front? I thought, I may have found a solution to this with ES file manager, but they do not allow playback of videos. Music and images work though. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Ive been using an application thats on the TF called "My Cloud" I set it up on the TF, then was prompted to install the pc suite from asus website onto my desktop. after setting up, i can view my desktop on my TF, and view all files, stream video with audio, or just listen to music, check it out....

Goodfellarayray, I was messing around with My Cloud, looks good, but still requires a third party program on the computer front. What is the MyNet thing? I couldn't get it to see any of my computers except for Windows 7 and when I click on it, it disappears.

ok, i have installed upnplay on my tablet, and installed tvsiverty on m winxp front. it lags quite a bit and after 3 minutes or so the sound cuts out altogether.

typing from my tf, kinda hard

I think i have it set for tversity to do the decoding. I believe i downloaded ffshow for tversity to do the decoding so it basically just streams to TF and lets tversity do the heavy lifting, i am using a quad core with 4 gigs ram so that might help. Also large hd files sometimes suffer from wifi bandwith probs and try rockplayer lite when mobo is giving problems.
