Played with a Captivate and a Vibrant today

Last week I decided to order a Vibrant to play with for the grace period, since i'm tired of waiting and really want this phone, and now i'm positive that I like it more than my Dinc. One thing I can tell you is, I didn't realize how awful the Dinc's battery life was even with the 1750mah battery until the Vibrant. I haven't charged it in almost two days and I just got done charging the Dinc this morning and already it is almost as low as the Vibrant (one being 80% the other 65%). I have been using the Vibrant for music and some calls/surfing. The Dinc, as of today, just for texts and emails. Says a lot!
The phone is really nice, as is the screen (which we all knew right). The one gripe I have is that when exiting an app, like Listen or the Music app, there's a slight delay to returning to the home screen. On the Dinc it's usually instant, and not 2 seconds before it goes. I hope that's just my phone or something on it doing that, or something that isn't on the Fascinate.
Hurry up Verizon, we don't all want an X/D2/Dinc.

I personally cannot wait for this phone. I have emailed one of Verizon's media contacts only to be told early fall... I was about to get an HTC Dinc but then found the Samsung Galaxy S / Fascinate / well you know em...

Have to recant a bit here. I have found that the TW Launcher is running at all times as a low level process (~28KB data). I am pretty sure this is necessary for some of the lower level phone functions. Doesn't seem to be doing anything that causes lag. It's small and doesn't register any processor time. It's not even considered an app.

Samsung has had GPS issues in the past. They rolled out an update to the Epix (AT&T WinMo) in mid 2009 that caused the GPS to stop functioning properly. They kept telling us to wait on the patch. It finally came on July 1st...2010. I had already ditched the phone by then.
The Fascinate interests me, but even then, it's Samsung's horrid update history that bothers me. You buy a Samsung phone for what it does today (to include bugs) and don't expect any changes. And if you get an OS update? Celebrate!

Agree ill held the tmobile version todayy and it was so nice I am looking forward to the release if it ever happens lol
