I have about 3 PC and one WDTV live in 4 different rooms.
These connect wirelessly to my NAS and streams HD contents (mainly AVI and some MKV). This setup is working fine currently.
Currently I don't have anything in the lounge room and thought it would be a good idea to put a Google TV box there. This should allow all the people in the house to use you tube, Facebook, and browse the internet.
One of the feature that I want but not sure if the Google TV can do is the ability to stream media files off network shares like the WDTV. I do not want to use DLNA servers as it's not as practical for me.
